Our Facilities

The Primate Rescue Center is situated on 30 acres in central Kentucky that afford the primates a quiet, sheltered place to spend their lives.

Chimp Housing

In August of 2006, the chimps moved into their brand new, state of the art enclosure.

Monkey Housing

The sanctuary features 10 custom indoor/outdoor enclosures with attached heated houses. The social groups of monkeys who occupy these spacious enclosures are free to choose where they wish to spend their time, and most spend at least part of the day outdoors.

Primate Kitchen

An industrial kitchen that would rival any gourmet restaurant’s operation, we process and prepare 300 lbs of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and pasta for our primates every single day.
